Things to know about watery dispersions / solutions
A dispersion is a heterogeneous mixture of at least two substances that do not or hardly dissolve into each other or bond chemically with each other. Different names are used, depending on the state of aggregation of the two phases, which is to say the disperse phase in the dispersion medium. The most common types of dispersion are liquid in liquid = emulsions and solid in liquid = suspensions.
Solutions, on the other hand, are homogeneous mixtures of at least two chemical substances, which dissolve into each other and purely outwardly form a homogeneous phase.
Everywhere where, for technical reasons, one desires to dispense with the pure oleochemical solid substances and/or pure substances, we can supply you with the appropriate watery systems.
