HERWE® has successfully completed the audit as part of its participation in the KLIMAfit initiative of the federal state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany. We are proud to announce the release of our first-ever greenhouse gas balance sheet for our group of companies. This milestone is a key element in our ESG strategy, as it provides the foundation for future planning, measurement, and monitoring of efforts to reduce our company’s CO2 footprint.
Throughout the preparation process, we gained valuable insights and successfully embedded climate neutrality into our daily operations. The next big challenge will be balancing profitability with sustainability. However, we’ve already discovered that these goals can often align in a positive way.
